The quarterfinals of the 2020 European Championships have been set and the four games are about the ignite the tournament to new levels.
The prestige of winning is certainly a top priority for all but there is weighted pressure on the likes of Montenegro, Russia, Croatia, Hungary and Greece, who are all vying for the one ticket to the Olympics, up for grabs at this tournament.
The European final from 2018 saw the Spaniards play the game of their lives and took the eventual winners Serbia to a penalty shootout earning a respectful bow from the Serbian Coach Dejan Savić. Fast forward to 2020 and both teams have qualified for Olympics but will match up on this years quarterfinal.
Italy, the current World Champions from Gwangju, will be pushed all the way by Montenegro, in a game that will be an epic encounter of note.
The hosts Hungary will have the massive crowd on their side as they take on the ever improving Russian outfit. The Hungarians primary focus is qualifying for the Olympics and the added pressure will certainly be weighing on their shoulders.
The biggest of games will be Greece against Croatia. Both teams have yet to qualify for Olympics and they know how important this win will be.
Simply can't wait to watch some of the best waterpolo, to be played at a frantic pace in front of a nation that absolutely loves waterpolo, at the Duna Arena in Budapest.
